Extensions to period Cotswold house along with interior re-modelling
This project involved adding two extensions, one ground floor and one on the first floor, not only to give additional space but also to transform how the family would use the house and make the best of its location at the edge of a village. Work started with the demolition of a garage then the construction of a large ground floor extension to create a kitchen and dining area with windows and doors giving out onto a terrace with beautiful views of fields and rolling hills beyond. The first floor extension created an additional bedroom, and other works included internal re-modelling to create a study, playroom, and utility room.
We advised on the appointment of the main contractor, preparation of the building contract, and handled all project management from start to finish. This involved weekly site meetings and regular communications to ensure clear and timely information flow between the client and main contractor.
